Samson Domestic Appliance Maintenance Plans
Samson Maintenance Plans are an excellent marketing and management tool for any business or department in the housing and rental industry. Whether you're a private landlord, a management agency, building contractor or a housing association, a Sam's Plan will provide you and your tenants with a streamlined and efficient repair service. Consider the logistics of a tenant with a broken down washing machine;
The client encounters a problem which they cannot resolve, and makes contact with the property owner or manager. Out of hours, the tenant will have to leave a message on the office answering machine. The following morning, the staff try to contact the customer to establish the details of the problem, but the customer is at work, and they have to leave a message on the tenants mobile phone. The tenant finally calls your office back at lunch time to explain the problem, at which point you supply the customer with the phone number of a local repairer that you may have used for some time. The tenant eventually makes contact with the repairer, who attends three or four days later. The engineer doesn't have the parts required on his van, and has to order them from the supplier. The engineer returns five days later, carries out the necessary repairs (hopefully) and tests the machine. The engineer returns to base, and the service company raise a bill to the managing agent or landlord for parts, labour and VAT. Thirty days later, you raise a cheque and post it off to the repair company, and the process is completed.............eventually!
Samson Maintenance Plans can completely remove this typical headache scenario for you and your organisation - not to mention the tenant! Sam's Plan works like this: a fault on one of the covered appliances occurs. You or a staff member logs into the Samson online customer portal, and completes a repair request form online. The Samson customer portal is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The tenant is then contacted the same or next working day (dependent on if you made the request in or out of hours) by a repair agent, and an appointment is agreed.
The Samson Maintenance Plan utilizes the services of the werepair national service network. When your tenant is contacted, the appointment will be made with a werepair member. Werepair members agree to work to a strict code of conduct, and have a wide experience on all popular makes of domestic appliance, as well as carrying comprehensive van stocks. When the repair is completed, Samson take care of the invoicing and payments, thus reducing your administration time. Overall benefits of Sam's Plan include:
- Much reduced staff time and involvement
- Increased efficiency and flexibility for the tenant
- Reduced repair waiting times
- No administration for repair invoicing
- Reduced repair and maintenance costs
- Easier budgeting for repairs and replacements
- Contribution towards replacement appliances
Should an appliance covered by a Sam's Plan ever become beyond economic repair, Samson will supply a new replacement under the terms of the plan. All you or your organisation will have to pay for is the delivery and installation charges, and any contribution for depreciation that may have accrued. Please contact us
